Apple release the new products based on tablet computer with touch screen on last wednesday (27/1) at San Francisco, United States. Apple CEO Steve Jobs give the name of his new portable device is “iPad”.

Chaos is lightweight Robot with Various Features. Collaboration between human and robots always growing, besides in industry and entertainment, this collaboration is also done in military. One of the military robot is called Chaos, were created to help soldiers to work in the hard and high risk battle field.

Chaos designed to ease the soldiers task in combat. Specifically for reducing risk when entering into dangerous areas. Chaos Robot launched and used for first time in the Cobra Gold operations series. This is military exercise operation among USA, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, and Singapore.

Chaos Robot is capable to operate in weight field battle, such as a steep plateau or even on the surface of the land that is less stable. Chaos has a four-wheel independent tracks that can be changed the directions to 360 degrees.

Chaos can also go through non flat plateau. This is possible because it has an ability to change the way round of the wheel, rolling, and keep running even in shaky situations. Another ability is making cordon, search for victims or the enemy hiding spot, take the subject in the field opposite, and used as logistics supplier. Chaos has a large cargo capacity. It can carry loads up to 50 pounds or about 25 kilograms. The arms can be moved up to a maximum distance 72 inches or approximately 182.9 cm.

New technologies of camera help a film maker from Toronto Canada Rob Spence, to make his damaged eye work better. His eye was removed three years ago because of accident in a childhood shooting. He currently developing a small camera that can be inserted in the prosthetic eye and can be expected to record the same things he sees with his working eye. It called eyeborg.

Special equipment that consists of a camera, a tool to view the human body organ (colonoscopies), a battery, and wireless transmitter equipment. Indeed become a challenge to enter all the equipment is in line to the prosthetic eye. To research it, Spencer project assisted a great engineer, Steve Mann. He is one of the founders of the computer research group in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

I think this is the first time I have heard someone trying to put a camera into their eye socket. Wonderful idea…
